We are family

Vincent Wonder here.

Things are going okay.

Well, life is still a huge struggle,

and not much has changed so far in Glassbolt,

but… I have a family now.

Gina made for a wonderful pregnant wife, although she was constantly tired and hungry and her back hurt…

Then came the moment we had both wished for and feared a little…

and yeah, I guess I freaked out a bit.

Gina gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl.

We named her Vanessa.

Vanessa was a good baby. She cried only when she was hungry or needed her diaper changed. She slept a lot and let Gina have a lot of time with me.

We sometimes have to eat rotten fish, but we are happy.

We are a family now.

Vanessa quickly outgrew the crib.

Oh, they grow so fast.

I continued to work as a journalist, interviewing people and writing about the disaster…

Vanessa was a bright child, interesting in learning. She easily grasped reading and writing and all a kid needed to know.

Then my wife surprised us with the great news that we were expecting another family member.

Then Gina gave birth to another child.

This time, a bouncing baby boy.

We named him Florian.

So now it’s Gina, Vanessa, Florian and me.

Together we’ll make it.
